Buschur Alcohol/Water Injection Kit

Does anybody have this? If so, what do you think? Direct bolt on? Ease of installation?

I heard someone had this on a 2gen dsm.

I don't know, it's crazy to think you'll drop a tiny bit of water inside your cylinder to raise compression or cool it.

that's just asking for it, I think.

10-20 hp? I was hoping for more. I guess it just depends how much you can crank the boost/AF and not knock thanks to the WI. I totally trust turbotrix though and am still excited to get a WI setup. Can't wait to see AEM's too.

It's only asking for it if you don't have the engineering that puts certain safegaurds in place WORKS prides itself in making sure these details are not only in place, but fully functioning when you need it. Our water injection kit has a number of features to give you peace of mind in the heat of the moment (no pun intended ): http://www.worksevo.com/store/produc...products_id=31

I have heard that this is going to be fairly easy to setup but I will know more with in the next month or so hopefully due to someone purchasing it. This is a very good idea to use becuase you can pick up hp/tq on pump gas safely, I would think more than 20hp but I don't know for sure and It will also depend on you level of mods. And as far as I know it is very safe to use becuase it has an incabin controler. Also it is made to go in and look stock.

We don't have any numbers to provide as our testing has been strictly here at the shop or out at the track. We'll be back at the dyno before long for some baseline numbers on the MR and I'll see if we can squeeze the shop car in as well.

Jamie, you kit isn't ready for release yet is it? You can buy Buschurs today. Also your kit has to be used on the stock ECU right. Not for the AEM or to be used later on if you decide to go away from the stock ecu correct? Please let me know, thanks in advance.

check out the buschur forum. the ones he's selling now are $399, and he's working on one that will use the i/c sprayer reservoir for the tank. that sounds **** to me.

If you guy's are looking for something that is integrated into the AEM EMS you might want to look into this kit www.derekdevises.com. I will be going with it shortly as it can be integrated into the AEM or thru the stock ecu. If you register with is yahoo group you can see the wiring diagram, tuning information, and can download a AEM EMS menu for meth injection. I haven't heard much about the Buschur unit, but the Works unit is similar to the Aquamist unit and both are limited by a 500cc flow valve, while Derek's kit uses a 100+ psi pump that is pulsed thru a relay.

The one he is selling now is listed on his site at $499, and I'm not sure which reservoir is shown (IC sprayer?). I want to keep my IC sprayer, so I'll have to figure something else.
