POLL: Does your DP rattle?

I have a Helix DP and it does rattle

When I stop at the light I feel the rattle plus if I turn on the AC I get more rattle which appears to be the result of the DP hitting the subframe.

Hey Snoop, mine used to rattle a good bit but Andrew corrected that problem Most aftermarket exhausts (particularly DPs) are likely to rattle so it takes some work and skill to install them and tweak them. I think you can get it to work fine but you'll have to work at it

Good luck

I have the AMS turboback and it rattled a good bit, so I got some kartboy hangers and it eliminated most of it!

That's odd...I have the 3" turboback...totally no rattle. I had one when I first put it on. Couldn't figure out what it was...posted about it (was at work couldn't touch the car at the time)...no one was able to help. I looked into it further when I got home...turned out it was the heat shield for the cat that is attached to the underside of the chassis from mitsu that was slightly tweaked ratteling on the seam of the highflow cat. One stainless steel screw in it solved everything.

My Megan Racing downpipe does not rattle but my Perrin Cat delete taps the heat shield above it because the flanges are so big. I have to snip out a little section from the front part.

The Helix pipe fits perfect, the proble is the hangers may flex a little.

DC Sports 3" DP and no rattle. It's damn close to the front tie bar but doesn't touch.
