Went from 300 miles per tank to 230!!!

Whats your problem? Are you telling me that if you LOST 100 MILES per TANK that you wouldnt think something is wrong mechanically with your car (given the fact that your driving habits havent changed)? If you have nothing positive to contribute, stay out of the thread, jack...! And I can give a rat's *** about what you think about how evo's are to be driven. I will sell the evo and buy a geo as soon as you make some friends who will listen to your dumb opinions!

settings SO - IF a user drives on 100% closed loop - all low TPS and no boost - they will get fairly decent gas mileage
Of course FULL TPS is a different story !
