Installed the HKS BOV (question about re-cir.)

I put it on yesterday, and havent seen any side effects from it. Am I really losing hp and should I invest into a re-circulation kit? My car idles perfectly fine.

Thanks for any help you provide.

Also, If I do get the re-circulation and put a intake on..will I regain the loudness I currently have from the BOV?

from what I have been told you will et back some noise but it wont be as loud as it is now, its also better for the car to recirculate, once again this is what i have understood, if you dont mind how much did u pay for it??

you shouldnt be losing hp. you are just robbing the car from some air and making it run rich. over time youll kill your catalytic, but thats about it.

its better to run recirc cause thats the way the cars built.
if you arent having any idle issues then its really up to you.
the noise will be dampered a little, but the hks will be plenty loud either way. i think a intake with the hks recirc would be just as loud as a hks with the stock air box.

Just an option, but If you don't wanna pay 30-40 dollars for a recirculation kit. all you need is the fitting that goes inside of the BOV. it's $10 and if you get an intake just go buy some 1" hose and make it yourself.

What intake are you rinning? I just sold my HKS bov and went back to stock and it is no where near as loud as the HKS. I was actually bummed once I put it back on. Plus my boost went down because of the stock leaking.

I have the HKS RS too, but I don't think the stock is anywhere near as loud and the HKS bov. Just my .02
