I wonder why there aren't any dB test results for these exhaust setups. Something simple and standardized. 10 feet behind the center of the car and maybe a test from inside the car. Shouldn't take long at all.

I'm kicking around the idea of the AMS setup but it sounds like it's a bit noisy from this thread. A cat delete setup would be nice but I'd get jammed at my next emissions test.

deeper. The best thing is it doesn't taper or use the stock cat. (true 3")
I have their high-flow cat on mine and its pretty queit. I was down to
these (2) exhaust systems when I made my choice and I'm pretty happy
with the APS... Good Luck.

APS is nice as well but again it's very expensive.

I also agree that APS is deepest yet quietest. Full 3"catless is still quieter than some with just a catback and it retains stock looks.

The Espelir is a great exhaust due to its nice sound, good performance, superb design (angled like the HKS). The sound does get a little bit louder tho, once u put a downpipe and cat-delete.. but its still nice. When I drive a little hard now.. my firends tell me they see a spark flame out thru the tip when I shift..

Ultimate Racing!! you wont be disappointed with the top notch quality, performance, and deep sound. Quiet and really comes alive at WOT. AT an Evo meet, there was just about every exhaust you can name on an Evo, like 7 different ones, and everyone kept asking about mine. Darryl's customer servicce is great too. just buy it straight from www.ultimate-racing.com.

Just to add to the Ultimate Racing setup if you have the High Flow cat it is very quiet compared to others, and very high flowing still. I now have the off road pipe and its noiser, but still alot more quiet then other catless systems i have heard and tolerable. Also the exhaust is making the power just look at the sig with the mods i have.
