Yes, according to all the documentation I've seen, All USDM 05's get the 10.5 revised housing with the new flapper. I have seen no mention of any variation in turbo or even horsepower levels in any of the 05 USDM models so they all should be sharing the exact same engine, turbo, induction, etc..

MalibuJack-

Do you know if the tube that bolts onto the 05 compressor housing outlet has changed?

If you think the comp housing outlet is slightly larger, I wonder if mitsu produced a larger lower pipe to accomidate the change or any portion off the lower i/c pipe?

When I asked this question, another member who has access to the parts database said the discharge tube (outlet pipe) is the same part.. It may already have been slightly larger to accomodate it anyway..

This thread is specifically about the compressor covers, which are slightly different and are part of the reason that there's HP Gains..

What your asking about is the turbine cover, and between the two, the only real difference is the wastegate flapper, which should help with boost creep and some minor turbulence issues that might have cropped up on the previous generation 10.5 turbine housing.. But both housings (turbine hot side) should offer roughly the same gains.
