turbo upgrade

if you are limited to using 94octane gas what is the benefit of adding a larger turbo on ev08? lets say if the motor is built to take advantage of it with all the stg upgrades, racing head stg3,forged internals etc..boosting beyong 20psi wont be able to happen anwyay with pump gas..question is can a larger turbo provide more HP using the same boost as the stock turbo..i was thinking of doing a 2.4L stroker built then possibly a larger turbo would make sense in this case since the larger displacement would help the spool up as well..thoughts?

Even with stock internals + HKS cams, a larger turbo can make much more power than the factory unit, even at boost levels that can be supported by 94 octane. The primary reason why is simply because a larger turbo will run more efficiently than the factory unit at higher air flow ranges, especially at higher rpm where the factory unit runs out of steam.
