anyone used a garret t3/t60 60 trim ?
im thinking of this turbo, but the trim might be a bit larger than what i want, im looking for something to spool decently fast... usable boost by 3800 rpms. i found this one, your alls thoughts?
COMPRESSOR SPECS:T04S housing
flow: 61 lbs/min 781cfm
.70 A/R housing
60 TRIM wheel
TURBINE SPECS:T3
.63 A/R housing
HIGH FLOW 76 TRIM stg 3 wheel
oil lubricated centersection.
for use with external wastegate.
due to large compressor flow, internal wasgate option not available.
COMES STANDARD WITH 360 DEGREE THRUST BEARING!!!

What an antique. I use the GT30R or GT35R. I have a GT35R and I am getting 10 lbs of boost before 4000 RPM so far in testing. I'll dyno it on Saturday to get some solid numbers but it will make 500 whp. Something that T3 couldn't even hope of making. The T series are just not very efficient. The GT wheels (even the non-ball bearing) have been amazing in some turbo Hondas I've tested. They make about 30-40 WHP more than the old T series turbos with less boost pressure.
The 50trim works out real well with the 4G63. Our 50trim bolt-on kit is what I recommend to most poeple looking for a powerful daily driver. You can't beat the quality and performance.

HOW MUCH?
The Green was made by a company called forced performance, here

They made the Green ofr the DSM's, not the biggest turbo, but as far as pump gas is concerned you will make the most power and be completely driveable, spoolup iws only slightly slower then stock but look at pulling exotics from a ROLL with a 50 TRIM and traps at over 120MPH and over 130MPH on C116
