Its hard to explain, but if you seen it you'd know right away. It has a "L" shape bung so to speak welded on to it, you screw the 02 sensor into the bung and since its not in the direct stream of the exhaust (just barely sensing/smelling exhaust) it doesnt throw the CEL, it thinks the 02 is working.

Is the shape of the de-cat pipe important? Is it true that a fat test pipe give you better thorttle response than a straight one? someone told me the air store in a fatter pipe provides an initial burst of back pressure which helps thorttle response. any comment?
