MR Turbo (10.5) $1600

Obviously, a little pricey - as a shortcut for the 10.5 housing swap. But Just wanted to post all the possible alternatives...

Forced performance sells the Tommi Makkinen 10.5 with titanium impeller for under $1000. That turbo is better than the MR's.

So thisis a direct fit? Will it need a reflash or tuning?

Getting this turbo, or any other piece of substantial performance hardware for that matter without at least a reflash is as exciting as ordering a virgin drink.

However the question is - Is this MR $1600 turbo JDM with titanium impeller as well or USDM?
I believe there are some differences between TME and 8MR Ti turbos.

You don't need anything but a nicely done (possibly aftermarket) exhaust manifold and O2 housing would be nice and tuning .

$1600 ......LOLOLOL....no way........even it if has a reworked wastegate, $1600 can lead you to a more cost efficient turbo or turbo parts (TDO5HR-16g6-9.5T are very robust....look into different comp and turbine housings along with different wheels)
