MR clutch?

Anyone have any info on these? Are they stronger than the 5-speeds clutch? I bet it is too early to tell but worth a shot.

don't know, clutch is a wear item, just like break pads and tires. It goes when it goes. I'd rather have it go in 20k mi. Than have the TC blow up in 10k.

Clutch is a wear item but not at 5K, 10K 15K miles. I've heard of both cases already I'm eager to hear the complaints for 04,05 and MR

I don't want to hear the complaints I want to hear the facts. (boost controller present?, clutch pill removed?, # of launches?, etc...)

Fact is I've heard stock EVO's with same issues.
Fact is quality sucks
fact is warranty sucks
fact is could have been and should have been better

My feeling is that a clutch, even performance, should easily last past 50k miles. Mitsu builds a weak trans and covers their *** by using a clutch that will wear quicker so they dont have to warranty clutches? Thats crap IMO.

I also have an MR, driven it for 2400 miles. Already burned out my clutch. My fault tho, dont ask... anyways, its been hard finding an aftermarket clutch that will fit. Have any ideas?

There are Evo members with close to 50 thousand miles on a stock clutch and still going. It can and will last IF you drive it properly and not launch it and ride the clutch.
