The HELIX exhaust is beautiful! 1 problem so far is a minor rattle (very minor , but audible) in certain low rpms with the wheel turned , but the piping is so large you will understand why it rubs when your under the lift looking at this exhaust, also not all cars experience this rattle. I am hoping that because of this little trade-off in negative favor that the mitsu gods will shine me with a factory freak of a motor

Call us and mention this Buschur Racing VS. Helix poll and this is what I will DO FOR YOU!!

ANY combination of our exhaust complete from the turbo back for only $750 SHIPPED TO YOU!!

This will include:

3" mandrel bent 304 stainless steel downpipe
YOUR CHOICE of a stainless steel offroad pipe OR the 3" stainless steel high flow cat
3" mandrel bent 304 stainless steel catback
YOUR CHOICE of the 304 stainless steel Buschur Racing lightweight muffler OR the 3" polished stainless steel Magnaflow muffler.
Complete installation kit included with each system.

You pick and choose how you want the system built, we'll build it your way (just like Burger King) and ship it to your door anywhere in the lower 48 states for a grand total of $750!!

Normally the cheapest way we offer this shipped is $865 and then with Magnaflow and high flow cat options can go up to $960.

The offer will never get better than this!!

can anyone tell me how loud is the Buschur with HFC and magnaflow? Compared to stock and to the regular Buschur exhaust with test pipe? I need something that is relatively quiet and no drone of the freeway.

thanks

I have the Burschur JDM style with High Flow cat and Magnaflow. At Idle and up to 3000-3500 RPM it's quiet. Nice deep sound down low too. As the revs rise so does the sound until you are screaming at WOT. I don't even notice on the freeway. but if you want, I have a roadtrip coming up this weekend, so I can re-evaluate my opinion.

I am a current owner of both...well piece of a turboback.
My catback is Buschur while my downpipe is Helix.

Buschur sells flanged version of all three pieces of their turboback but it's a little more $$ than slip fit exhaust clamps. In my case I have the SCCA catback which has the flanges. The big selling point on Buschur is not only price and power but weight, their exhaust component are very light.

Honestly I don't Know. Many people in TEMEVO have the HKS or Custom made systems and they all sound good but I am biased towards Buschur due to his experience with DSMs and the fact that I autocross and wanted a really High flow system that was lightweight.

This weekend when we do our roadtrip I'll listen more carefully and then report back monday night.

Personally i have a esplair only because i bought it used. if i were to buy new now i would buy from buschur. his customer service seems to be great and i have heard great things about his products. i dont see the head of any other companys on here helping fellow evo owners out. This counts for something in my book. that is why i will be buying his 20g when it comes out.

Dave...

that is one hell of a deal... please keep it around a lil' while cause income tax refund is a couple weeks away!!! Even though this is my first Mitsu, I've actually researched parts before for my friends with DSM's... My best friend is currently running the tbe w/highflow cat on his GSX... it looks and sounds the part, but best yet, it makes awesome power on that car... he's had it for some time now, and there was not a single problem with it yet... After seeing that and my other friends that went with buschur products, i'm sold... it's nice having some gini's for testing before your car.. hehe...

The sound i'm not really concerned about, coming from quite possibly the loudest 4-cyl n/a car ever, besides, i'm half-deaf now from said car hehe... only thing that boggles me is going test-pipe or high flow... gotta decide...

and Dave's point is correct, I don't really car about having a shiney pipe running under the car cause after our winters here, they end up looking the same... all in all actually, I'm prolly gonna spray the exhaust, minus the tip, high-temp flat black... big shiney can's = cop bait...

and also, as Calhoun said, having the owner of said aftermarket parts tuner come on here personally to speak is a major-major plus...

Dave, just please please please keep this deal going for a lil' bit longer!!!

Chris...

OK Just got back from the Road trip and we actually sat all the cars one next to the other and compared the sound levels at idle.

The Buschur was a little louder than stock but deeper. And at WOT it just screams. The HKS on my friends MR was the loudest but he has a testpipe and I have a High flow cat so that's probably the reason. We got some video and sound of all three from the same distance and we did some drive bys to compare sound levels. I have to wait for my friend to get that on mpeg so I can post it.

I'll get back to you as soon as possible.
