What kind of $$$ for the whole setup. If you need me to call to discuss I can-just let me know. May be in the market.

the lower line is 8psi on the gt3071r
If the GT28 makes more hp than the GT3071R then why isnt there that many people using the GT28?

10 lbs. heavier then stock or then the Busher system?

How does the setup sound on the highway? Does it drone at all? Reason Im asking is cause 95% of my driving is on the highway between 2.5k - 4k, the last thing I want is an exhaust that drones.

Also I must have missed it somewhere in the thread how much is the full turbo back with all the mufflers?

Thanks.

I heard that HKS has just offered a kit w/ an equivalent turbo to the gt28rs..but i haven't seen any results from Evo owners yet. Hopefully RNR will be willing to slap one on and dyno it . I really like what i've seen from these turbos on turbo hondas, great power and fast spoolup. Plus that power up top @ 20psi was on a ~1.8L

10 lbs heavier than the BR exhaust with the two bullets installed. I sincerely doubt it drones at all.

The triple muffler set up is about 10bls heavier than our system or the Buschur/Magnaflow system. The complete turbo back like that is $850 plus shipping. It doesn't drone at all and works very well.

Updates & More Questions

Ryan,

First off I would like to say, your engine bay looks great.... Looks first class and thank you for adding to this forum. Any numbers on this car yet?

Also, I have a couple of additional questions. So, to be clear your 2.4 block with a stage 5 head work (P&P) spools faster than a stock Evo? Would this be on race gas only or the same for pump gas (93oct).

How many lbs of boost are you getting with this set up on PUMP gas by the following RPMS

2500
3500
4500

Then would you know how this compares to a stock Evo on pump gas?

My goals are to get as close to 450awp on PUMP gas as possible and not lose any driveability of the car & increase torque for around down when I'm not on the boost. I don't want a lot of lag or a very short powerband.

This car will be used mainly for the street, so the quick spool up on pump gas on a 35R turbo is very important to me.

Thanks in advance for you input on this.

I will have some more updates later this week when the car comes back into the shop for the final round of mods and tuning. We will then be able to check the logs and give you guys some hard data on the spool, power, etc.

No problem, I will keep you guys informed on the progress. We are building so many EVO's that I never have enough time to post all the info on the forums these days. Guess that is good news because we are always building someones car.
