need help please!!!!!
i just installed a greddy type-s bov on my evo and i'm having some problems. just as it gets to 3000rpm it starts making a weird high pitched whistling noise. it's hard to describe. i don't think it's normal b/c all my friends that have it don't sound like that. hope someone can help me out with this or if i have a leak of some sort. thanks
maybe this will help

You've probably plumbed the vacuum signal hose on the bottom plug fitting instead of the top one which blows it open as soon there is a positive pressure. Look to see if you've got the fitting on the top, not at the bottom.
i don't have a problem with idling and the vacuum hose is on the one that is perpendicular to the bov, not the one that comes off it diagonally. i basically help it up to the stock one and but the hoses on the openings that matched...is that correct or should i have hooked it up the other way around?

ok so the purple is not supposed to pointed on top. that is kinda how mine looks except for the vacuum hose for mine is in a different spot...you have to look behind the bov to see it. whereas that one looks like it goes around to the front

Yea I unbolted the top of the BOV and turned it so it wouldn't hit the upper rad hose. It dosn't matter as long as the vac line isn't getting pinched.
