A diverter valve is the same as a bypass valve or a recirculating valve. A BOV vents to atmosphere.

The Evo doesn't come stock with a BOV. Terminology means a lot on these boards, especially when people start having problems that could be BOV related (due to the car still metering air).

ok so by changing my diverter valve i should solve my tappering problem , i have the mr plastic stock one
