thanks guys this is all good stuff, i am using Shell Optimax all of the time, i am going to do the pump and regulator, and have a look into the controllers i fancy the blitz but will have another look at the apexi

the reason the sort ecu runs rich at the top is because it has a lot of ignition retard after 6k
this is also why the boost drops away at this point also

right update on this thread...

blitz going in on Tuesday, and also a fuel pump, what is everyone opinion on a fuel regulator?

i thought you did one to up the fuel flowrate and the other to up the pressure...

did you do both with your sports ecu?

You see, that is the question. I would think the standard car will have some sort of a fuel regulation system, probably deciding how much energy is needed for a given fuel pressure, or am I wrong??

fitted the controller and fuel pump, well pleased....
car seems smoother on boost, no spikes or jumping about.
spoke to alan at dragon about the pump/regulator, he reckons neither are a must at this level but the pump is nice as it lets more fuel be available if it is needed.....only problem is you can hear it hum a bit when sitting on idle.

regulator is only needed if you go the apexi route of leaning it out to avoid the fuel cut, their 400bhp demo car has not had this done, so sort of proves a point.
