New to forum, not evos...
Hey,
I'm currently a VW guy, I have a 2004 R32 and plan on getting an evo IX when its out. I love my car and was pleased with the decision over a 2003 evo. I do a lot of driving currently and fell the evo didn't offer enough creature comforts. I will soon be quiting my job as will be able to drive something fast, less comfortable, and more expensive. My questions are how do you guys like your Evo's? In general are you pleased with your decision or wish you had something else? What are some of the XIII and IX drivetrain differences and will it still be a 4g63? What companies staging kits do you recommend? Buschur? Vishnu? or should I piece together my own set up ie HKS, APEXi, and Greddy? and please, I didn't join the forum to defend my decision on the R, nor am I degrading the 03 evo in any means so please contain yourselves and keep the flaming to a minimum. Thanks

The Evo IX is really not much more than the current MR with slightly different bumper covers, there's not much difference. I LOVE my car and I came from VAG. I owned two A4's prior to the Evo, one of them being an APR stage 3 car. My Evo has been 10 times as reliable and has never gone to the dealership for a single issue since I bought it 25k miles ago. The R32 is very different from the Evo....decide what you need and go from there.
I could buy any car I want under 65k and I love my evo. I will not trade it in like I have done to all my other cars. This is the most fun I have had in any car and it has 4 doors.I have driven the R32 and in my opinion it is not even close to the EVO as far as fun and performance goes nice car though. for mods read the forums all the info you need is there. Good luck.
