I recently installed my hallman pro rx and it will boost 12 and slowly build up to 17-18, it has the heavy spring instlaled in it and it's wired properly. I first tried iwth the knob all the zeroed out and now i turned it a little ot try and turn the boost up, but still no luck. It builds 12 initially and very slowly goes up to 17-18. Why would this be happening?

 

I tried putting a hallman on my car this weekend. Didn't work to well lol. It makes a lot more sense after reading this thread! haha Thanks guys!

 

Thanks for the input about the tires. I might try to get some when I start having an income again ... I do wonder why to upgrade the suspension though.. I bought the Z51 for the special suspension package......

 

Hey, I have bought an evo 9 recently close to stock. The only thing it had aftermarket was an hks blow off on the chrome intake pipe, which I believe the tubing off of the blow off valve comes from the boost solenoid.I had purchased a Mbc and I am ready to install. I have read that I connect a piece of tubing from the turbo and connect the Mbc. Disconnect the boost solenoid and cap it. Then a tube from the wastegate to the mbc. Sounds simple. I'm confused then how to rehook up the hks blow off valve. If anyone could help I would appreciate any help. I will also post some photos here soon.
