need some help on hallman mbc pro rx evo

so, i've got everything installed just like here.

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=114672

but i'm stuck at 11 psi when I'm driving.

that and also, i have the cockpit adjuster which isn't turning at all. So I can't turn the boost up or down, it's stuck.

it's pissing me off.

pics.

This is the wastegate that i've connected to the top of the hallman.

This is the line that goes from BOV to Intake manifold that I've tapped into with T - Fitting that went onto the side of the hallman nipple.

Now, this is the turbo wastegate actuator that i've capped off with the plug left in.

This is really freaking pissing me off, since it was pain in the *** to take all that crap out and put it back. Now I can't even increase or decrese boost with the damn incabin controller!

It just wont budge. It's stuck....

I need help!

was it moving before you put it in? it may just be really tight screwed down. Use a towel and a pair of pliers to see if you can move it.

i have my hallman set up like Evoisdream in your first post. i used to have it like your diagram but I had a little flutter and a mechanic changed it to the turbo nipple. now it is solid. my hallman doesn't have the in-car adjustment. when i first installed it, i was having the same problems - boosting to 11 psi and i couldn't get it to turn. i just man-handle it, after about a quarter turn, it loosened up and all was good. however, that is what i did - not telling you to do the same. i don't want you p!ssed at me if you break it.

ok, I've talked to Hallmans, I'm suppose to adjust the inside of the MBC after taking out the Spring and the ceramic ball.

Quarter turn counter clock wise and it'll be ok, from what I was adviced.

I'm going to try this in a bit.

Don't get the in-**** pit one like me. This is just about the most difficult thing to install.

and I've done suspension work on by myself before. That was easy compare to this thing.

yeh, that link don't work but I've read all the install/how to/issues on hallman on this board, so I probably read that.

Anyway, I got the thing fixed. Now I just have to see if it works. I guess once you first install the Hallman MBC, your boost is set to the stock 11psi.

I just have to increase the boost and adjust it tomorrow.

I've been hearing bov bypass and Turbo nipple.

It's killing me since there's no straight answer.

I'll be setting mine as 20psi.

ok, another problem. First gear only boosts at 15psi now.

I've set it to 20psi. 2nd to 5th gear is holding solidly at 20psi.

are you using the stock spring or the upgraded heavy spring?

i have heard people having low boost with the stock spring, once they change to the heavier version, problem solved

yeh, i've seen those threads already.

everything is capped, everything is done the way where you tap into the t fitting.

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...52#post1503552

there's a diagram on there first page that i've made.

I didn't tap into the turbo nipple, which is something other people and al from dynoflash is saying.
