FWIW, a comparitive test I've seen with the Crower 4g63 cams indicated they did not give the same power as the popular HKS cams.

I was curios about the crower cams. I would like something that makes decent power though.

Ive got them in my car and REALLY like them. I believe I was the first person have them, but they are def a good option at alot less cost than a HKS setup.

Call Jason Harrison at RedlinePower.com @ (919) 423-4933 or shoot him a email at sale@redlinepower.com.

I dont believe they are listed on his website, but he's the one who got them for me VERY quickly.

I doubt anyone wouldn't like them unless they didn't work properly. Nonetheless, the real decision is if the difference in cost is worth the 15 ft/lbs or so of torque the Crower's will give up to the HKS 264 set at the 320hp level.

Am I mistaken here? I was under the impression that the Crower cams were not designed for the Evo head but for the lower flowing 4g63 engines used in such as the tallon and earlier Eclipse apps.

They have developed a new set of cams specifically for the Evo, and Ted B, where in the world did you see that the crowers give 20ft lbs up to the HKS?

Thats a eclipse, TOTALLY different head, and TOTALLY different set of cams. The Evo Crower cams are actually a hair larger than the 264/272 setup (not saying that bigger makes more power). I will bet anyone with similar mods that has a HKS 264/272 setup that my car will perform just as well if not better.

If you consider what we know about HKS cams and EVOs and compare, the trends are virtually identical.

So where are the specs for the Crower units? I can't find any info at all on an Evo V/// application. Opinions do not really constitute a rational basis for desicion making as 100,000 Frenchmen can definately be wrong.
