water injection should work really well in any boosted motor. it has the effect of running race octane gas while using pump gas.
a couple of things to keep in mind, 1. you will have to run an aftermarket piggyback or ecu to retune the fuel/timing/boost.(otherwise you get almost no improvement), 2. you need to have a foolproof way to deactivate your water tune if the water injection fails.

is my favorite system, and best board.

I run this kit on 92' GMC Typhoon, www.alkycontrol.com with good success, been thinking about adding it to my EVo too.

Too add to this post, I just drove up to Buschur last Thursday and had them install the kit, let's just say it made a huge difference to my *** dyno. These guys know what they are doing, it did not take long to install, then Dave and I jumped into the car and starting tuning. At one time we had the boost up to 27 psi. on 93 that I picked up on the turnpike. I left there with it set at 25 psi, it is a night and day difference, nor more lag from that big *** turbo!! I will say that it does not last long, I think it holds a little over a gallon, we probably made about 30 runs and then I had to fill up, he had Dan set it to come on at 18 psi, that way I would not be running around town spraying all the time. I pick up the alki at a local Sunoco station for like $2.50 a gallon. I especially like where the control unit is installed in the change holder, so unless I tell you, you have no idea it is there. All in all, I say it was well worth the money, for those of you that can not always source the race gas, this is the cheapest solution in my opinion. The only part that sucks is that Buschur is 6 hours drive away from me (and thats doing 85mph), the only miles I have on the car are from going up there!!

Sweet deal! That's my next mod if i win the lottery ticket! hahaha....

Water injection only works when ur have it activated. It's good for high boost on bump gas, but it's not the same as race gas. Anytime the water injection is not being activated, ur on normal ignition and afr curve. Once it's activated say 18psi up, then yes, it's almost as good, but not THE SAME. Methanol mix with water is also very lethal. IT's goign to be a bright day for all of us with big *** turbo!

All depends on how you set it up. I have mine set to come on above 3500rpm and 50% load via an XEDE, so it goes through the methanol quick, but it's a LOT of fun.

Shortybighead, can you post a picture of your control unit? I just ordered the BR alcohol injection kit today and was wondering where I should install the controller.
