the mits filter is DENSO and thats a very quality product, and is the cheapest compared to mobil-1,fram,etc that ive found i change oil so much i cant comment on oil types i always just buy mobil-1 10w30 wall-mart or costco , or if you were around for the pep-boys calendar(MADD)You probably got more oil stocked than Sadam

I use either Puralator Pure1 oil filter, or Mobil1 Oil Filter. They have the highest ratings, as do the K&N ones. Mobil 1 10W-30 on the oil. Facto fill. I don't know about that Royal Purple. Some people swear by it, others loath it. It is too watery thin for me.
