yeah that rollchip was started by some guy.. it is a joke.. are cars just pull really hard from rolls because fwd loses the least amount of drivetrain hp from the crank to the wheels... and all u have to do is get a wga and u can boost spike which makes tq go straight up and stay there.. my tq is 280 from 3500rpms to 5600rpms..

If the Evo had any type of Fuel Tuning, he would be modded for damn near 300WHP and same torque, but since he does not, you shoudl beat him for sure.


BTW Evo's certainly have topend on stack cams (tuned) just more so with cams is all...

 

what intercooler are you running? most of the big ones will give 30 or so horses. not to mention the fairly decent power gains you get from the turboback exhaust. i say run him from the hole, you might be suprised. an evo is what, .5 seconds faster than stock. i have intake, exhaust, and stage 1 and run high 12's on my street tires. so with your mods, it might be close. let us know!

Honestly I believe it will be close, if the guy driving the EVO knows how to drive. It's all on the driver. The mods for the EVO are ok, he is probably only making anywhere from 20-30 more HP than a stock EVO, so honestly you should have the advantage from a roll. Not a huge advantage, if you go in thinking your unbeatable, you may be surprised. Fron a dig if the guy knows how to launch, your gonna lose and lose bad.

 

I'd put my money on the SRT-4, but from a dig it might be fun with that upgraded clutch.

 

well.. we are going to run tuesday.. but b4 the race im getting my stock exhaust changed from a 2.25' to 2.5 with no cats or resonators.. so that will let my baby breathe better.. i will probably have a camera man in my car the first race and the second race have it in his car sound good? well iwill keep you guys posted on what happens and if i can figure out how to put a video from my camera to the computer lol thanks

 

I ran a SRT with the same mods as but he has a electric cut out. My mods are listed below in my sig. I was running race gas and 23psi and I put 2 cars on him from a 15 roll but once we got out of 4th he started pulling me in. I usually shut down at the top of 4th anyways. My tune is a big difference though. If he's not tuned you should pull him and walk away from after he hits 115. That was all done on the local 1/8th milw here BTW. LOL. Happy EVO beating.

 

Why do the SRT-4 Guys need to upgrade their FMIC's, they are even bigger then the Evo ones. Are they restrictive or not flow well?


Get a 3.0 Turbo back, only way to go with a turbo ESPECIALLY a 2.4 Turbo.... You will make more power, and defenately MORE torque.
