SAFC = Waste of money. Either get a reflash, or get a real engine control unit (ie. AEM, UTEC, Exede, etc.)

EBC = Waste of money. MBC does the job as well (if not better), for much cheaper. Plus, if you opt for any of the tuning methods mentioned above, you will be able to control boost with that.

Grounding wires wasnt too bad, bought it custom made from a member here a long long time ago. Still havent installed them yet, been lazy because there is not much gain from it.

Stuff that was a waste of money.
RS Intake which I sold here at a loss
CF Radiator shroud which didnt fit - got refunded - mostly cosmetics on this one
3" B&B Downpipe, it rattled in 2 places all the time, not good, will attempt to get a new one
Custom box made by a certain stereo shop in IL that did a ****ty job. My box looks like a typical 2 woofer by at Circuit City or BB with the amp mounted on it. WTF?

Thats it. All my money from now on will go into power mods, and suspension mods. Cosmetics, well I dont really like to showoff to people, thats pretty much a waste of money to me

I remember the first month I had my car I ran against a pretty heavily modified RSX.. It caught me by surprise that it had pretty decent top-end.. But if I recall, even the quickest Normally aspirated RSX is running in the mid 13's and the quickest RSX is a 300whp Comptech turbo'ed setup and its got tons of traction problems and running in the high 12's (maybe quicker at this point)

Their nice performers at higher RPM.. I remember how close these races were when I first got the Evo, before I was completely aware of the evo's capabilities, although I never lost, It was really close at the time..

After I got used to the car and got back to the track, I subsequently ran two high 12 second runs, and a low 13 second run stock car too.. Without beating the snot out of my car.. Driving is everything.. On the street.. Anything can happen, its dangerous and most of the time your just not prepared for the situation or consequences.

Making your own grounding wires for less then $30 bucks is definately not a waste.. paying 150 for them for sure. The clutch is fine if you can drive properly and are not abusing your car with constant hard launches. I have 50K on mine and feels brand new... so whats the problem?

My buddy showed me a video of an Evo running against a SpecV at a drag... the Evo ran some ridiculous time like 15.8 I think (and yes the SpecV beat the **** out of it). I'll try to see if I can get ahold of that vid. It was shameful to say the least.

I'm guessing the video he's talking about is the one where there out on a closed highway. it was from a roll and if I remember correctly the evo had 2, maybe 3 people in it. the RSX has mad topend power... duh guys it's a honda. from a dead stop it's a hole different story. I'm thinking this video was a 70+ roll on.... which is a whole nother ball park. Evo's are pigs on the highway untill you get it tuned and a few mods. even with mods they are pretty bad. tunning make a big difference..

edit: i just remember'd. Rsx didn't pass the evo till like 130ish-140ish. there's gonna be a big difference just because the evo's 5 gear is long and play'd out. the rsx can stay high up in it's power band with the 6 speed.

This comment has to be for me since im the only one who mentioned a clutch. You must feel great that your still on your stock clutch at 50k, you deserve a soft batch cookie.

Biggest waste of money for me had to be the SAFC-2, it was on the car for a couple of weeks, before I decided to get my EXDE.

Nice numbers !!

Well I would link the video but for some reason I can never link things in my posts. They go from a 50 roll and the RSX puts atleast 4-5 cars on the Evo. Does not at all look like a race.
