Short throw shifter not short a$$ shifter
i wish someone made a shifter assembly that shortened the throw like i had on my VW...bolsen probably knows what im talking about...but you actually replace the linkage system under the hood to make the throws shorter by 30%...not only front to back but side to side also...coupled with a B&M shifter, i reduced my throw by almost 50%...so much so that i had to be careful not to shift TOO fast and tear up synchros...

I had a VW Corrado and it was worse! That shifter defined "Notchy"
Are kartboy.com's shifter counter weights?
Who else makes some nice counter weight shift knobs

EDIT: nevermind. I re-read, and see you were talking about kartboy. My bad.
i've got the B&M short throw and i really like it. the only disadvantage (in my opinion) is shifting from 1st to 2nd is a bit stiff...all the other gears are much smoother than stock...maybe that kartboy bushing set will help out a bit. overall i shift quicker with the short throw than oem shifter.
