Get the 272s, unless you don't mind losing a lil extra hp for a smoother idle.

Either or, make sure you get it tuned for the 264s or the 272s, it will make a world of difference. If you don't, your kinda robbing yourself. The 272s will give your car a throaty, loping sound, kinda like the 264s, but a little more than an everyday driver would probably want.

A Club Member of mine is putting down 340whp with the 264s and bolt-ons with the stock turbo. He wants to switch out the 264s for 272s so he will probably hit 360whp with it re-tuned by Mark of course.

not if you have them properly tuned. Get a set of cam gears also. Set it -4 I : -1 E and that will help the idle smoothen out.

Edit: Here's a good thread to read. Pertains exactly to your situation

That's what I was going to post........Tuning is key! Just remember that. I'm suffering, because I haven't done this yet.

If you were to do a combo......I wouldn't do 272 (i) / 264 (e)...

Only do 264 (i) / 272 (e) if you go this route. It works best with this set-up.

i remember reading some where a couple people had 272 intake, 264 exhaust and it made some crazy torque numbers....

272/272 or 272/264. On my personal car I have 272's but my dads 03 has 272/264 combo and his was one of the best responding cars Andrew @ dyno4mance has ever worked on.
