HKS EVC HIts boost cut @20psi HELP!

OK... im completely baffled...

I installed my EVC V and have the wastegate set at 60% and then had it set up correctly, running good 20.5psi coming back to 17-18psi...

Its good for the first couple times after a coldstart (warmed up of course)

Then I hit boost cut at 4,500 in second gear, then i tried 3rd and hit boost cut at 5,500rpm

I wouldn't dare take it higher because im scared....

My low boost is set at 50% wastegate and i have no problem, its like stock 19psi then down to 16...

Can someone help me

MODS:
ARC intake
HKS EVC
STock BOV
Megan Racing Turbo Back

Thats all ihave done right now

With a reflash the car will make more power through better tuning and also remove the fuel cut - $199

When the MAF shows that you are exceeding a certain amount of airflow, the ECU will enact the fuel cut. Your EVC will not change this.

check for boost leaks. Your maf may be reading more airflow that's going into your engine because it's leaking out somewhere.

Check your vacuum hoses from the intake manifold and upper IC piping for leaks.

When it is cold you can hit boost cut at 20 psi. I couldn't run anything higher than 19 this winter until I got my flash.

Colder air needs more fuel to compensate. If you hit a "cut" at colder weather at the same boost level, it sure is a fuel cut. Boost cut doesn't kick in at 20-21 psi...

Either do a reflash to get rid of the fuel cut, or even AFC can be tuned to lean out the mixture. With the mods you have, you may be at high 90 to 100% injector duty cycle without ECU tuning.
