i just heard that stock hoses expands during high boost or even stock level which you don't get the full benefit from it...

i think that the reason why people get the ic pipes is the "bling factor" although some people do claim that ic pipes do give a significant gain

well stock hosing wont expand with the stock turbo's boost.. who would run stock hoses with and upgraded turbo is doing it all backwards... not just the bling.. theres also the cooling factor and weight factor...

I got it. I'll post up my results this weekend. I plan on installing it on Saturday. I should take pictures and do a write-up installation for it.

I still think that the lower I/C piping isn't that big of a deal. I'd go for the upper I/C piping all the way. Check out Buschur's review of the lower I/C piping. Not much of a gain at all..

If you replace the Upper IC pipe, you won't notice a thing, the lower IC pipe adds an easy 10WHP, faster spooup, harder turbo hit and spike, and boost holds up top more, WAY WAY WAY better throttle response.

Really that noticable, get a lower ic pipe, upper only if you had a problem blowing it off like me.

replacing the upp you dont notice anything? well why is it that a wider dia allows more air to flow through it thus allowing you to run more boost... it you stick withthe factory upp it will limit the vol of air into the intake manny

When I put my Buschur Deluxe Upper pipe on, I noticed alot actually. I had my boost set to 20psi with an MBC and then when I went out for a first test run with the new pipe, it went to 24psi. SO I had to turn it back down. I did notice a good difference in the lower piping.

It sounds like you either fixed a boost leak and/or changed the BOV at the same time. After I installed my IC pipes, I actually lose 1 psi of boost. I pressure tested my system both before and afterwards. The extra volume your turbo needs to fill should result in a slight loss in boost at the same boost controller setting.

Go to AMS. From a price to power point of view, the upper pipe isn't worth it. That's why they don't make them. They just started to because people were asking for it. 7-10whp with lower pipe.
