Flat spot in between gear change

Anyone here has ever experienced a flat spot in between gearchanges on a full throttle run?
during normal driving that problem is not noticeble but as soon as you make full throttle accelerating and when you're changing gears fast, there would be a flat spot before the car goes on every gear.

What do you mean by "flat spot"? Are you referring to a sudden stop in acceleration during gear shifts?

Anyhow, I would check all intake connections and vaccum liines. A leak in the system can cause sudden loss or lack off acceleration.

Yup, sudden stop in acceleration for about 0.5 sec on throttle after gear change..

That is called turbo lag. it takes a while for the turbo to spool up again after each gear change. The cure for that is called ALS (Anti Lag System).

if u experience turbo lag while shifting at WOT it mean you are shifting too slow u let the rpm drop too much

If you're using an aftermarket ECU, gear change ignition cut may be active.

I know what lag is but this is definitely not lag and moreover this is a stock turbo.. Its more like an intermittent 'dead spot ' before the car moves again.. Its not gradual but merely instant. When you stomp on the throttle after each gear change at max rev, it does it. bit if you're driving it normally and feed the throttle, the thing isn't there.. Anything to do with the throttle settings on the Super AFC2??
