max boost on stock turbo
What does everyone's turbo max out at? When I had mine set at 24psi with 100 octane I was only maintaining 24psi to about 5700-6000rpm's after that it would start dropping and reach 20psi by 8,000rpm. I am using a halman RX manual boost controller and a MR bov.

Try the heavier Hallman Pro spring and havey steel ball of the Pro kit
Also - anyone running serious boost should consider head studs . . . . and chjeck your tuning !
Be careful !

the Car has ARP headstuds, it is tuned. I am just dropping some power up top, I will try a different boost controller. I already checked for boost leaks got none now.

Yea I know the tock ECU can handle only up to 25 PSI, I think the Stock turbo is fine up to 23-24 on 93-94. I run 23lbs, well in this cold NE air, usually 21-22 in summer, and on 93 octane. But My turbo has been taken out and is fine after 26K miles
