Should this Be capped off Greddy TypeS

HI guys I just installed my greddy Type-s BOV, USED, and was wondering aout the 2 upper nipples...one of them is capped off and the other is not, should i be worried about this or cap the other one off as well. The guy that sold it to me told me to leave it open....I have done my research and saw that modt have a tube that goes from on enipple to the other.....is that what should do?

I can't tell a difference capped or open. I just left it open.

Turbotrix capped mine (recirculate) when I had it done months ago. And when the vaccum hose popped loose a couple weeks later, my car drove like crap and stalled occasionally until I tightened up the clamp. If I were you I would cap it just in case.

The clamp and the cap are not related. What do you mean?

no that does not need a vacume hose or a cap, only if you didnt do the single spring mod you would want a vacume line there but if ur driveing fine dont worry bout it.

It wasn't about the clamp. What I was saying is, when the vaccum hose connected to the circled nipple came loose (which was due to a untightened clamp or w/e it's supposed to be called), my car was having problems with idle and stallings. Since his BOV doesn't have the hose, assuming that he haven't done the single spring mod, I have no idea if it would run like . So my advice was to cap it.

The pictured nipple should not have anything to do with stalling, etc. Maybe it was the other nipple?

Strongly doubt it. The rough idle and stalling were "fixed" once I had the vaccum hose secured to *THAT* nipple, nothing else was touched during the fix.

So do you have the single spring mod done or no? I guess I could see some driveability issues with two springs.... That nipple helps open the valve.

Nope, not yet. I'm still too excited from my first couple days being 300+whp to think about driveability.
