Guess my HP increase!

Getting a Magnus intake and TB installed at TT this Saturday. What do you think I will see as an increase in HP/TQ. I am guessing 28hp/25tq. Mods are in my sig. It will be dynoed after the install.

I will let everyone know what I get next Saturday night.

Way more than that. You should be getting the power you said by just the exhaust! (depending on catless or not) Are you running this without a reflash? Because of the intake you will loose some torque overall. Good luck, and post up your results!

I am adding a Magnus Intake manifold and 75 mm throttle body then getting it dynoed. On the stock injectors unless they have them in stock when I get there.

I doubt you'll get anything at all from the larger TB. It will change throttle response significantly, but I doubt it would change the dyno graph at all. Any improvement you see I'd attribute almost entirely to the intake manifold.

And where that is concerned, you stand to get something from the intake manifold, but the trend seems to indicate this to be at high rpm. My only concern would be that the stock turbo may not have enough puff left at that rpm range to realize the full benefit.

I think it's anyone's guess, and it will be interesting to see what happens.

I'm with yah. Your gains would be MUCH higher had you have an aftermarket turbo. But with the stocker, you certainly could have spent that money more effectively else where.

On that note, you are buidling a good foundation for something big!

Well I plan on putting a turbo upgrade on around spring time and that is why I picked this up. Also I may look into some head work/ valve and springs/fuelrail ect.

Well I got a tad under 10hp all across the power band, much more sensitive response and it keeps pulling where i dropped off before. Come spring it will help with a larger turbo upgrade. I have not decided on what kit to get yet.
I have to tell everyone there is a lot of modifications that need to be made to make this work. Custom upper pipe, dipstick, and a few others that Mark from TT could tell you better.I also had a bigger TB which needed some customization done to it.

I don't regret it as it will be beneficial at a later date with the turbo upgrade along with an alcohol kit.
