Yeah, it's probably the Emanage, I've heard of problems with that...
***this Is A Chain Letter, Please Forward This To 10 Of Your Friends And Be Sure To Say "the Harness Is The Same For The 2g And The Evo"***

992GNT is correct. The coilpacks are fried with the Greddy Emanage (only with the ignition harness installed). A turbo timer does not have any components or funcionality to affect your ignition system. It simply delays the kill signal when you pull the key out. A HARNESS certainly is not going to change voltages of your system considering a harness is an extension of wires and nothing more. Everyone relax.

I called the shop and they said that the ignition does not fire properly with the ignition turned off. How the ECU sees the ignition off when the turbo timer is functioning properly is beyond me....

However, this makes me wonder if our P0300 codes are caused by turbo timers. Is there anyone out there getting the code with no TT?

since reading this i started looking at my volt meter (which is always a hair under 14 volts while idling)
if i turn my lights on or pull up on my window switch (with the window shut) it pulls my volts to around 13 then back up to its idle volt.
when i turn the ignition off it drops to around 12.5 and back up to its operation volts

if this helps shine any light on the subject for anyone.
ive had it like this for 15000 miles/5 months with no issues.

I've had my greddy TT for over a year now and I haven't had any problems of that sort. My only issue is that when the TT is down counting down, it shuts down and automatically turns itself back on. The stupid thing drains my battery like crazy.

"all manufacturers use the same harness. they are all compatible with eachother. they all use the MT-6 harness. greddy is supposed to be making a new one specially for the evo maybe with a resistor in it or some type of thing."

Just ordered a Bltiz DTT X. Can I just order the New harness from Greddy and use it?

Why are people panicking? This has happened to a couple EVOs right? At a single shop, right? I have had my blitz for 2 years with no problems. Get all the facts before worrying.

Turbo timer causing problems? That's the weirdest thing I've ever heard. I've got one on my MR since day 1, works perfectly. I also have a Blitz TT on my WRX for the past 2.5 yrs, no problems at all.
