HELP!! some quick questions. need input!

alright i just got done installing an injen intake with ic pipe. as far as a power increase i certainly dont feel it now, but then again i only drove it 4 miles around the hood.

so now i hear the blowoff valve sputtering as it vents, is this normal sound or should it make the psssssshhhhh sound?

do i need a tune to get it to feel like it was stock or can i get an a/f controller and maybe that would help. (hopefully getting an exhaust soon!!)

i can deffinately feel a loss of power will it change or is gonna stay this way. im not even sure if i want to drive on it to much right now, do you think it has to be broken in?

I had the same thing when I installed my K&N typhoon. I was told to drive it a round for a while to let the ECU adjust, but that never helped. I ended up getting an AFC II and now it is fine. You can get a reflash but, if your not done moddnig, get an AFCII so you don't have to keep flashing your ECU everytime you add something. I searched this problem a lot when I was dealing with it and found out the increased airflow from the intake throws off the MAF and your a/f ratios. You can lean the car out with an AFC or flash and then you will get all of your power back plus some. It will pull a lot harder in the upper rpms. Good Luck.
