Do you think headwork will be necessary with the 280's or are head studs enough? Also do you notice a significant drop in low end power? thanks allen

You know when you hit 5500 RPM's and the car feels like its dead ? This changes everything. The car is an absolute MONSTER from about 4500 RPM's on. Definately more fun to drive !!
nice!!! I know what you mean about 5500 rpm dead stuff, I put the 272/272 in my MR and its an all new beast all around, but at top WOW theres the fun. I can only imagine how a set of 280's feel. good stuff man.

I guess I'll put the obligatory thought up that I'm sure a few of you have pondered.....what about doing a 272/280 or 280/272 combo??

I dont think headwork will be necessary because it has the same lift as the 264's, so springs and all should be fine, its just the valve is ipen for a longer amount of time, and i didnt notice any drop in low end power.

thanks,
taylor

I can't wait to see what these cams will do on the dyno when paired with a bigger turbo and all the other goodies for power .

I wonder how mutch more power the 280 cams will make compared to the 272 cams and how it will affect spool. The spec sheet I got with the 272 cams says they will make power to 9k do you know what the spec sheet says about the 280 cams?
