Having Problems After Walbro Fuel pump installed

Well I just put in the walbro 255 fuel pump and i got my ecu flashed for it by dyno flash. Now i hear a loud noise coming from under the car only when its running and i kno you here the pump inside the car i kno thats normal the noise under the car is like a high pitch noise is that normal ???? and when i was testing it around top rpms feels like its dying out is this due to the fuel pump not working properly ???? i kno i installed it right its a real easy install mainly plug and play but if anyone has suggestions let me kno i was thinking maybe spark plugs but some feedback will be helpful thanks everyone

Well...I don't know about your dying out problem...I don't have that...but the whine is rather loud and it's more noticable then I thought it would be so that's probably how it's supposed to be unless it's HIGHLY annoying.

I think you may have misinsatled the pump - did you transfer over the white platic ring to the new pump ?

nope i think al means the white grommet that sits under the o-ring. Walbro's kinda sound like a hairdryer under your back seat

when i did the install yesterday...after i pulled out the stock pump, the white grommet was still on the oulet nipple, and i popped it off. BTW be carefull pulling the pump out of the housing, i accidently pulled it out too much and popped off the wires
