BR Stage 2 Shots

Car feels much better with the stage 2 upper intercooler pipe, MAF pipe kit, and mini battery. Top end is about the same but the spool is much faster and hits much harder.

I agree, very nice black piping. I want a mini battery kit but I don't feel like spending 200 bucks on it.

Thanks for all the compliments guys. Im running my stage 1 flash still. I talked to David and he said the flash from stage one would be just fine. I plan on getting stage 3 next month so ill just reflash it then.

That is the FORGE BOV. Its a nice piece I like it, only thing i dont like about is that slight surging I get in fifth gear in part throttle when I let off. The FORGE is no extra charge compared to the 1G.

I'm surprised that the Forge is no extra charge. I thought that a 1G would be dirt cheap (under $100) and the Forge is like $169 separately. I have the 1G on my upper pipe and I'm not 100% satisfied with it.

EVO8LTW: What do you find lacking in the 1G BOV with your setup? I've had the "Stage 2" installed for the last 6000 miles and it has worked rather well for me.

I have a electronic boost controller which allows me to adjust gain -- i.e., how fast the turbo spools up. If I raise this level too much, the boost hit causes the BOV to open a little and then I get a PSH-PSH-PSH-PSH about once a second as the BOV opens, boost drops about 2-3 psi, and then it quickly builds again, etc... I suspect that if I had a stronger BOV I could dial up the gain without this side effect.

A small bit of advice to make it look even better. The battery is sitting slightly crooked. Behind the battery is a wiring harness, it is holding the battery out. If you pick up on that harness just a bit it will allow the battery to move back so it sits straight. The strut tower is tapered and there is more room towards an inch or so up for the harness.

That forged valve we need to change our pricing. It costs us about half again as much as the 1g valve does. Trying to add some extra value to the kits. Hurry if you want to steal that valve with a Stage 2 kit for the same price
