My brother had my dig. cam. so I didn't take any pics...but it's done. I ended up taking all the bolts off of the exhaust manifold, enough that it could be lifted up about 1/8 inch. Then I cut out (of card stock) a piece that slid in to catch all of the shavings. Drilled a pilot hole and then put the big bit through...friend held the shop-vac next to the whole the entire time. Then with the hole in there I held the shop vac over the hole to get any shavings that had gotten through. Tapped it with threads, shop-vac'd the remaining shavings out and pulled the card stock out slowly. There were no shavings on the paper, so I'm confident they're all in the vac.

After that it was just splicing into some wires and running the other wires through an existing hole (from the alarm) to hook up the gauge. Then I crossed my fingers, started it up, and everything works perfectly! Victory cig. and now I'm out to clean up the garage. Thank you for everybody's advice/input, it made it easier. Since I didn't take the exhaust manifold off, I still have a brand new gasket in the sealed packaging that I got from the Mitsu dealership if anybody wants it. Just send me a PM, paypal me, and I'll ship it to you or you can pick it up if you like near DFW. Once I get the camera back I'll take a pic of the finished goods.
