Oil coming out from exhaust manifold?? (HELP!!!)

oil passage uh...I didn't know that. I am taking my car back to the dealer on tues and I will let you guys know after.

It would be good to use something I suppose but I have no idea on what would take the heat. You should be able to tighten the studs enough to ensure no oil leakage. Also, you can tighten the manifold on tighter than crap considering they are studs hold it on. Between the gasket being squished on by studs and the actual stud in the passage it should be enough. Always make sure you change the gasket when removing and re-installing.

edited because I found an image which clearly represents what I said last year. I also want the information to be known so someone doesn't tear their car apart or loose sleep over residual oil on cast to head surface.

Yes. There is no top or bottom passages here, just the passages that lead to crankcase from head. The bolts can be seen protruding into these passages in the image below:

the lower far right and lower far left manifold studs have oil passages behind them. they are the only 2 studs that are larger in diameter than the rest. i found this out when i swapped my stock studs for ss studs and they leaked. i took them back out and used teflon tape and never had another problem with them again.
