So, I keep getting a burning oil smell coming from my car and I'm not sure what it could be. I've changed the oil since it's began and didn't notice anything abnormal. The oil level was fine and there were no leaks anywhere. The car is not smoking and the smell is not overpowering, but it does have me concerned. I also thought it could be an exhaust leak, but haven't been able to locate any.

I currently have 10k miles on it and have installed a new SRI, exhaust manifold, DP, HFC, CBE, and 4" FMIC w/ hard piping. I've also had a tune done and don't really run the car too hard since it's my DD. If anyone has any ideas on what it could be throw em out there.

 

The burnt oil smell your describing is probably Gasoline your smelling inside your cabin it happens to my Evo too especially with the HFC. Whenever I floor it on highway I would sometimes get Gas smell inside my Cabin, what I do now is keep the Air Recirculate On so outside air from Engine wont come inside the cabin.
Are you getting the smell like constantly if so then probably exhaust leak .
