HELP evo rear differential convertion

Hey !!
I'm doing the convertion right now, every garage closed.

I'm some beer advanced ... héhé and doing this (or something like this) for the first time.

I've removed the X differential, now I got 2 axles,
-one female
-one male

When I look at the 8 differential (comming from sheptrans 12 plates upgrade), it's really thinner, and there is 2 female hole to plug axles.

I've tough of maybe removing the female things that go on the axle, but then it's gonna become even more short.

New I need your help, maybe it's only a small things, but I can't figure it out.

Thanx !!

Ok, in my hand now I have on the evo :
-One left (driver side) male axle (that need to enter the differential)
-One right (passenger side) female axle (something need to get out of the differential to connect to it) and even right now the axle is not long enough to reach the new differential.

On the differential I got :
-Two female hole to insert axle into it.

Problems :
1 : Right side have a hole on the axle and the differential so two female can't connect together.
2 : Right axle is too short.

It's supposed to be direct fit...

Sorry my english is not my primary language, I'm a newB mechanics, and right now I am pissed.. lol
If it's still not clear tell me.

no its not a direct fit.
The X axels wont fit in the CT9A diffs. They are different length and different size.

You need some modification on the rear subframe and you need new axles from the Evo X RS.

Call up RKTmotors.com, they will go to the rally DEFI for service in canada soon, and they can help you out with this.

Rob

if you let them do it it will look like mine

NICE! Any chance you weighed the car before/after this diff conversion (and apparently cross-member/diff mount as well) ? Just curious.
