thinking bout gettin cams should i do it all?

Hey,
In the future im getting cams not sure what size yet. While i have the head off should i just get it all done? Like cam, gears, studs, vaulve, springs, the full deal? or should i just shot for cams and gears? The reason im thinking wait and just do the entire engine is because dosnt it "cost money" basically to open it up every time w/ buying gaskets? I could be totally wrong i dont know much on internals and i want to learn. Eric

i dont think that u will need to buy gaskets unless u take out all the head studs and do them at the same time but if you do them one at a time and torque them to spec u shouldnt have to replace that gasket... im just gonna go with the cams/cam gears/head studs.. but all those can b done fairly easy...

I would get the valve springs and retainers for peace of mind. You can get them for about 200 bucks. Just my opinion.
