seems like the majority who have the GT35R opted for increased displacement. Must be a reason....

No lag? , less lag maybe. The best any GT35r will ever spool at would be about 4000rpms anyhow, unless you have a 75 shot or something.

AI/WI by itself won't reduce lag or improve spool.

Great thread.

I'm in the process of installing mine. It still has to go to the fabricator, but I have really been up in the air about what to do lately. I think I'm goina do head studs, ems, proper fuelling, exhaust, intake, and tuning tunigng tuning, and take it from there. I'll prob do some cams soon but they will prob only be 264s as I don't want to shift the powerband any further north.

I hope to have the car on the road in May, so it's goina be a while for me.

The guys with the GT35rs and the stroked motors, what A/Rs on the hot side are you guys using? .63 , .82 or what? And what rpms do you get full boost at with ref to the a/r?
Thanks
Mark

I get full boost at like 4600 rpm with low boost and 25 psi by 5000 rpm on higher boost. I have a stock motor with cams.
Here is what my power band looks like on a "pump gas" setting and on race fuel. I have an 8k rpm limiter so it works out pretty well. My pump gas is only 18 psi. If I ran more like 22psi I could get about 350whp.

i have a gt35r kit with equal length manifold,272 cams, cold air intake, fuel rail, fuel pump, 780 injectors, grounding kit, upraded FMIC with upper and lower piping, tial waste gate and BOV, AEM EMS with uego, probably alot more im leaving out, stock block though. i get full boost by 4200 ans start spoolin around 3200-3300 . I have learned to deal with the lag even though i dont find it that bad. Car hits like no other wene it spools = )

Well I have everything except intake manifold, stand alone engine management, ignition, and engine work. It's easier for me to list what I don't have heh. 272s for cams.
