Oh yeah, and EBCs (when set-up properly, which is where most problems occur) is A LOT more consistant than MBCs... MBCs are dialed to a setting, you're not telling a computer you want the car running 20 lbs of boost, you're just turning a knob to make a few things stiffer or weaker... thus, when dramatic climate changes occur, you need to recheck your boost levels or you could be + or - up to 4 lbs of boost
But guess what, MBCs do a pretty damn good job, and cost a WHOLE lot less than EBCs to get and get installed and set-up to be functioning properly... a Greddy Profec B is like 300 bucks... the higher end Hallman MBC is like what? 120? and takes just about anyone like a half hour to install?

bull, i would put my hks evc up against any manual one.. holds the pressure accuratly within 1 psi, and within 2 on the spike.. and my intake and exhaust is very free flowing..

I just set the mbc up like stock.. at stock boost levels. especially on 91 octane. If you wire it from the BOV tube(comingfrom the throttle body) you should experience no boost spikes as long as you dont alter your exhaust. Spool up is quicker, so with a lower intercooler pipe is a good first set of mods.
