Helix Downpipe Question

Does anyone got pic of both the version 1 and version 2 helix downpipe, i just dont know wats the different between the two version of downpipe.

I think Helix Version 2 DP has flex section.

ver.2 dp gives you more clearance for the oil pan not a flex section so its more of a refined version instead nothing major.

where can i buy the version two helix downpipe, is the one that lancershop sells version 2 or version 1? any help will be appreciated. thanx

The version 2 is the only downpipe we offer. I don't think that Helix is making the Version 1 anymore.

Correct there is no more Verison 1.....the newer version is the 2, but as far as I know, everyone is sold out

a downpipe is a downpipe, all do the same thing aslong as you stick to name brands.

Some downpipes do offer different things. The helix does fit nicely in there so you do not have to replace or shim the support bars underneath the car. But some people complain that it is to close to the oil pan.

The perrin one is a good one but it is recommended that you get a replacement floor support bar to make sure it is no rubbing anything.

Some downpipes do not offer the same type of donut style flange which makes them hard to install and have been known to have some minor sealing issues.
