intercooler question
just wondering which system you would like best and which would work best with stock or aftermarket turbo... which would work best on track days or on really hot days on normal roads. why and why not... the options are either aftermarket intercooler, injection kit, stock or a co2 spray infront of the intercooler. thanx =)
Not trying to be an ***, but what is you eventual goal? Without knowing where you eventually want to take your car, with the question you've asked, you'll be getting answers all over the place. You won't be any farther ahead then you are now.
What I've been advocating is to set a goal, choose the parts you'll need to get there and document each change with hard data (dyno, track, etc.). You'll save a bunch of money not buying the "next big thing" mod.
Just my $.02.

Really with a new front mount there are many different options. The main thing to look for is pressure drop. The is the amount of boost pressure that is lost from the turbo to the throttle body. Our customers have ahave very good reports from the APS Front mount. It has 1 psi pressure drop from the turbo to the inlet of the throttle body. This is very good for how big of a core it is. There are many options out there and really it will depend on what you want from the car. Drag? Track? Daily driver? But overall a upgraded front mount will help your power in all these situations.
