Give the guy a break for crying out loud lol. This setup is one of a kind and is going to take A LOT of R&D.

3240 has been very well manored concerning his car. Most of us would start threads with predictions and overstatements if we had this car. I know I would lol!

Time will tell. Let's just be patient.

yeah, what he said. I hope you get all you issues nailed down. This has got to be a tunning nightmare, but once you get it all tunned out, I know it's going to be crazy.

We blew another head gasket today. We hit about 34-35psi at 5,500 rpms (approx 600whp) and it went. No signs of detonation. I'm a little frustrated because everything else is working so well. We're using a Cometic gasket and ARP head studs. We're going to look at different options. Any proven suggestions out there? Thanks.

What size bore do you have? Stock? There is some decent information about different gaskets in the below thread.

Maybe you can go back to stock & o-ring the head? Just some thoughts.

Call Buschur Racing, they sell o-ringed heads to prevent this. I'm sure if you call and tell them about your setup they'll be interested to help. He could probably just build you a bullet-proof 2.3, and get it over with.
