How many using injection (H2O, Alcohol)?

Just curious how many are using some sort of injection to help with detonation control. Not really interested in NO2, it's used for different reasons.
Please only vote on poll if you have an injection system.

I've been experimenting. I've run 12.2:1 on 91 octane without knock, but I had to retard timing and lower boost.
Now I'm running 22psi, with good timing (up to 20deg) with afr 11.4:1 becoming gradually richer to 10.7:1 by 8000rpms. (these afrs are off due to the injection, which makes them seem richer than they are).
I'm also running straight washer fluid (20% methanol).
I'm going to slowly lean out afrs until I sense knock then back off. I've been doing my tuning in 4th gear on a road with a slight incline (more load).
It pulls like crazy. The 1 1/2gal res. lasts more than a full tank of gas, and I boost ALL THE TIME.

Buschur SMC based kit here.

I ordered a kit from Al over 3 weeks ago, haven't received it yet.. so I can't provide any other comments other than that.

Have had an Aquamist 2D system in the car for the past year. Started out with straight water and now run 50/50 mix of water and methanol. For detonation control, the water's good, but won't make any more power, hence why I run the mixture now. 27psi on pump gas is certainly a good thing.

Wow, that's great! Do you have an upgraded turbo or are you on the stock turbo on 27 PSI? I am currently using Distilled Water on my Aquamist set up and am running 21 PSI on 91 octane. I ran as high as 23 PSI and the car pulls like a monster only on a 6 MM jet. I'm going to stick to 20- 21 PSI and lean out my A/F ratio in the future. I have about 10 gallons of a 50/50 Methanol/Water mix in my garage for some experimenting in the future.

Stock turbo still. I've been using a 0.8mm jet and it's been pretty reliable. You can crank the boost up higher than that if you want. 25 should be fine, even with straight water.

Be careful with the methanol, it's addictive and easy to become a meth head.

I am just using Distilled Water as my injection mixture. Go to the Aquamist site http://www.aquamist.co.uk/ and there is alot of information on this subject. You have to keep in mind that you do not need alcohol to get good results, water does very well also. I'll be going to the drag strip on the 26th of this month and I'll post the results of how much a little water helps to improve my 1/4 mile times.

I think you will get more out of a simple water injection setup than you will from spraying the IC with CO2. Check out the discussion forum on aquamist.co.uk. They talk about the benefits of water vs. water+methanol vs. methanol vs. propane vs. IC spraying, etc.

I just had the Buscher kit installed and have mixed up some 50-50 methanol/water with a couple capfuls of Marvel Mystery Oil since I can't find the Klotz additive. I'm getting tuned this coming weekend in Dallas by Vishnu so I really haven't used the system other than to verify that it IS spraying. I'm really looking forward to seeing what kind of gains can be had from this system.

I'm currently running a Vishnu Stage 1+ with a testpipe and the car pulls really nicely on the base map provided, but I think there's a lot of room for improvement. Will post up the numbers once I get back. I had a switch installed so that I can turn the alky system off completely so that I can run a pump gas map in the event that the resevoir gets low. Can't wait!!
