moving throttle cable

moving throttle cable

Well.... I just unbolted it off the valve cover and moed it under the strut tower bar and zipped tied it to the bar and...... wow, it feels more responsive. Anyone else one this?

I did this several days ago and it feels like stock. It's not going to feel more responsive, it's the same length, etc..... That's in your head. But if you run it under your intake manifold the engine bay starts to look much cleaner.....

Some of the EVO's came from the factory with a lot of slack in the throttle cable. By tightening it up the car will be more responsive......i.e. adjusting the throttle cable bracket (the two bolts that hold the throttle cable to the intake manifold) to take out most of the slack in the cable.
