Hallman Evolution Pro or RX Users... Mounting question

for evolution users...

1 - where did you mount your MBC under the hood?
2 - where did you drill the hole in the firewall to run the evolution wire?
3 - where did you mount your controller at in the cabin?

pictures would be very helpfull...

the more replies the better...

thank you...
-Sal

mounting those sucks ***, since it'll slip out of the mounting bracket. no knob on the end to stop it from sliding off.

I zip tied it with my upper intercooler pipe, next to the bov outlet.

then, had the line go through the firewall, on the right side, below the steering rubber thing.

it takes a bit to drill it and i did it upside down, with my feet in the air, bent over backwards.

mounting point on mine is on the lower left side, next to the HID adjuster, sticking side ways.

You can't have it straight, it'll touch the bracket because the line has force flex.

hope this helps...i took off the FACTORY METAL lines that go to the BOV...I used a "soft" line(basically just a full peice of flexible tubing..lpcal auto store)...the the moounting point on the engine where the stock lines were mounted..i used that mount to mount the MBC...you can see in the GREEN..the mbc...and the PINK is that new line that i ran for the bov.

any questions ask me..i suck at explaining things..plus being a sucky photographer doesnt help HHA

Mine is mounted on the battery tie down bolt, we had to grind the washer down, but it works great on a car with the stock snorkel

DO not drill anything. That's 100% unecessary/ghey...

USe the grommet already in the firewall to the bottom right of your glove box. Remove the glove box. Get a friend's help - shine a light through the engine bay into the car to find the grommet hole. Come in through the engine bay (not vice versa).

Mount (w/ a zip tie) behind in the intake manif.

On my buddies GSR, we put the controller in the ash tray...
